Oscar; Update
Hey peoples,
The alternate ending is up for Lucas' viewing. It's not a masterpiece.. but it gives you an idea.
I've also uploaded a "How to Build Man" guide onto the Bible, I think I'll put it here too:
cheers for making the face construction page, seems really helpful. everyone needs to remember to use these guidelines and to practice drawing the man, he has to look like the right character with the right proportions throughout the film.
regarding the animatic i think that it may be the motif idea doesn't allow for enough of the train station to be seen whilst keeping the delayed sign as the main focus of the shot, so I think it should stay as the original one
figured id comment here about the bedroom shots because i cant comment on backgrounds page. i think that bedroom shot 2 would probably work better because it has a higher perspective for the duvet move and there's less open space so it wont look odd him only taking like 1 step. but if there's any reason you prefer the lower shot tell me. also he needs to have slippers by his bed, just to nit pick
okay man I agree with the ending shot. That's great, I really like the second design (I think it was just that in the animatic that perspective was just plain wrong and I wasn't sure what to go for) also I was thinking he would be wearing the slippers???
